UNION Instruments will present three products - the new SIRA-EX multigas analyzer, the SIRA-UV and the latest generation calorimeter - at the leading international trade fair for process measurement technology, ACHEMA, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, from Aug. 22 to Aug. 26, 2022.

The SIRA-Ex multigas analyzer has ATEX and IECEx approval. Accordingly, the product has been developed and approved for use in Zone 1 and 2 hazardous areas. The device can be equipped with a wide variety of sensors.

The SIRA-UV is used as an analyzer for monitoring odorization. It is used to detect sulfur-containing compounds such as THT and the sulfur-free Gasodor® S-Free.

The latest generation of the calorimeter is characterized by extensive connectivity. If required, the instrument can be operated via Remode Desktop, for example. Various modules and devices can be interconnected via Modbus to exchange information and measurement data. Data transmission to the outside can be enabled by various bus systems.

Its online measurement capability and the variety of different values which can be measured (such as H2S, THT, NH3 and SO2) – all of which can be determined simultaneously with very high accuracy, even in small concentrations – were especially interesting and positively received at the press conference.
