Long-term monitoring of water networks
Task
To ensure a reliable water distribution supply and to locate problems, knowledge of supply pressures during heavy-use periods is very important.
Solution
UNION Instruments offers the ESS3 A1 battery-powered data logger that can be installed in underfloor hydrants. The pressure conditions are stored in the internal memory with up to 8 measurements per second and transferred to a PC/laptop via an optical interface for graphical display. Acquisition of measured values even over many months is possible and permits transparent display of events at critical points in the pipe network.
User Benefit
Measuring points can be set up or routed very quickly by the portable logger. Extremely rugged devices with IP68 waterproof enclosure without electrical contacts guarantee long service life even under the harshest environmental conditions. Detailed measured values can be recorded over a period of many months thanks to the integrated data compression.
